Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 amβ4 pm. Note that it does not open on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (407) 870-0717. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is kissimmeechildrensdentistry.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 213 reviews, which is a strong result for a dentist in Kissimmee and suggests consistent service.
Kissimmee is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Kissimmee is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Florida's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My daughter had such a bad experience with the dentist. She went in for a cavity filling, they put nitrous oxygen on her just for a cavity which it doesnβt make any sense plus other anesthesia. My daughter kept telling the assistant she wasnβt feeling good she was feeling like she was going to pass out and they still continue with the filling stead of calling my husband who was waiting at the waiting room to let him know. So unprofessional and unconsidered about their patient. Ended paying for unnecessary treatment.

Our 16-month-old cracked his tooth while we were on vacation in Orlando. Kissimmee Childrenβs Dentistry got us in right away and provided excellent, compassionate care. They made a really stressful morning much more bearable for our little one. Our family would highly recommend them!

Absolutely, one of the best places to send your child. They recently had a change in Dentist, and we worried a bit, but the new Dentist is absolutely wonderful! Our greatest fear is when our child turns 18, we may not see the same quality of service! Front desk service is amazing and welcoming. Thanks for all you do, KCD!

Update 11/24/25 We had a much better experience with the dentist this visit, so I will chalk up our bad experience as just a bad day, Office staff is great! They fit us in today after I mistakenly showed up the wrong time for our appointment. Tekeyah is wonderful and so patient with the kids! I have been taking my daughter here for every dentist visit and this is the first time we had a negative experience. This dentist, Ana as she introduced herself was so condescending and rude. The treatment used on my daughter for cavities isn't working and I'm not comfortable with putting a 4 year old to sleep so the doctor said "we can try the treatment again, but if it doesn't work, she will need to be put out to treat the cavity or you will end up in the ER." Then proceeds to say multiple times that the medicine works like something is wrong with my child that the medicine didn't work for her. Even said "it works I know, I used it on myself and it's lasted 5 years." Well good for you lady! That's not how you talk to patients. And then talks about my child's treatment only in Spanish with her assistant while I'm in the room and clearly don't know Spanish. That's also not a way to treat pati
